Queen Rearing Course

We are now a couple of weeks into a queen rearing course, hosted by Master Beekeeper Dave Barrett. The course is proving to be very productive with a dozen nucleus now set up with queen cells inside waiting to get mated so they can start their own colonies. These have been grafted by the students over the last two weeks from one day old larvae and put into a cell raiser colony before finally ending up in a nucleus ready to be mated.

This course is being run free of charge for members of our association.
